I just ran whatever update some popup in the notification center told me to do and now my computer won't shut down. I select shut down from the start menu and I get a window telling me it needs to first shut down task host window and so I wait I can repeat the process over and over again and it will never shut down. If I select to force shut down it will shut down, at least it did the one time I tried that before positing here, but when I turned it back on, after logging in using my PIN, the screen was just black - not off - back-lit black.
So I turned the machine off again, logged in again, and it was the same. No idea if this is related to the above, but it was weird so I figured I'd mention it. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.
